What is Microneedling?

Microneedling - also known as collagen induction therapy - is an exciting, minimally invasive, pain-free (using numbing cream) corrective procedure for the skin.

Most microneedling procedures are done on their face, but it can be used on other parts of the body than need skin correction. You’ll probably need multiple treatments in order to see and achieve your desired results depending upon the area and skin issue, with noticeable results in about 2-4 weeks. Results last approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on your skin's natural rejuvenation time, and can be repeated every 4-6 weeks. And can take less than half an hour!

Since no heat is used, it's great for all skin types since the chance of increased pigmentation is minimal, and has less recovery time than more expensive chemical peels or laser correction.

How Does it Work?

Your trained technician uses tiny, thin, sterilized needles which make tiny holes in the skin's top layer. The minimal damage and slight inflammation stimulates the skin’s natural healing, producing more collagen and elastin - the proteins that keep skin firm, tone, and smooth!
